Well this had to hurt......more than normal.

http://www.oregonlive.com/news/index...er_accide.html (http://www.oregonlive.com/news/index.ssf/2010/01/portland_police_officer_accide.html)

Portland Police Bureau Chief Rosie Sizer said this afternoon that an officer accidentally used a large can of pepper spray when trying to put out the fire on a man who set himself ablaze in downtown Wednesday.

My sympathy lies with the police officer having to deal with the mistake.
This cat set himself on fire. That's dedication.
What is going through your head when deciding to kill yourself in this manner?

OW ! it burns, (Shhhhhhhhht), OWWWWW!!! it burns more.

I hope the cop does not get sued. It's a simple mistake. Its hard to gage how one will react when confronted with another person engulfed in flames. Both the pepper spray and the fire extinguisher cans were the same color. Honest mistake.

it's water based, so enough of it would have worked. lulz. The guy willingly lit himself on fire.. that law suit won't go far.

Lol considering mine is a picture of a monk that didn't it to stand up to the ones that had been mistreating his people for so long. Also, dude in my sig was hardcore. The reports said he didn't even move or make as sound the entire time.

ok, are there very large cans of pepper spray that look like fire extinguishers? I mean, is the trigger also the same?

Lol I was asking myself that the whole time. I mean how the fuck do you mistake a fire extinguisher for a can of fucking pepper spray? I mean, when you consider a fire extinguisher is a larger red canister.
