i have some fat5s on my teg and was trying to sell them but no luck.
Had the day off from work and was bored, so i started to polish them. I only got one done with the sanding portion. and have a huge blister on my thumb.
comments welcome.

not done yet...
go 1500 then 2000 and buff with rubbing compound, then noxon metal polish.

2000 was the last one i used:thinking:
do need to get the compound to polish them up

looks like brushed metal. not really polished...yet. put more effort into it.

You didn't take your time, you need to start with at the very least 800 and work your way up

NO... i think u started w a to high of a grit paper... and in ur updated pic its still hazy.. there is no shine to it.. u want it to look like a mirror when ur done..

you got some work to do if you polishing those, they are still quite hazy.. you rushed through one of the steps somewhere.. just look at the DIY section and the polishing wheels thread, my work is in there so i know wat im talkin about..

guess i have some work ahead of me.
when i got the lines off. i started with the 360, 400, 600, 1000, 2000.
idk wat else i can do:(

Just take your time and make sure it's even. Also make sure you are wet sanding. After that go to steel wool. Then Rough with a table top buffer then to polish

Remove that weight and have the tire balanced with some sticker weights
