What would you all suggest the best method for getting the modly smell etc, out of an interior. My neighbor just pulled his old 85 524 Turbo diesel out of th ebackyard, and its been sitting for 5 years back there. The motor started right up after some prep and oiling, and draining the fuel, just like a diesel shoudl it runs tip top shape.

But its moldy as hell inside, and smells moldy... any suggestions?

cinnamon brooms. LOL get them at the entrance to the grocery store.

no really you just need to clean it and keep cleaning it.......vac...shampoo....cleaners will remove the smell over time i think.

Get Odo- Ban at home depot. About $11/gallon IIRC. I've used it with good results on cars and household (flood damage last year).

do you have to scrub or is it more of an instant clean spray on?

The jug is a concentrate, make a solution with water and use with a rag or sponge. I haven't used the ready-to-use spray shown on the site. I did spray gallons of solution from pump sprayer in my sister-in-law's basement .

I had a '76 Westfalia, it took the mold off the tent canvas and interior. Only trouble is now everytime I smell that stuff I get a Grateful Dead flashback...
