It's actually not that hard. Look at the vid. From what I gather the gun wasn't his. He was holding the front grip when it came off and was "holding it tight" meaning keeping it down so when it came off his right hand trailed down and hit himself in the hand. Not that hard when to do when you think about it.

lol yeh the front vertical hand grip fell off and i had to watch it like 3 times to see when it comes off and he lost control and shot his hand. i would rather have shot it with a normal grip so your hands are always away from the muzzle.
