Some nerds at MIT decided to try and build a DEATH RAY

no way son, mythbusters did one possibility in 2 days build time. Throw a couple of months at it and I bet they would be able to do it more efficiently...

Mythbusters said busted just because of the size and quantity of mirror requirements and they used a Fresnel layout.

seen that tested boefre. it was pretty cool . now if only one could make portable lasers that deadly....
