so im eating my yogurt this morning and im 2 bites into it when i find this!

I thought it was paper but it doesnt tear as easily as paper should that's been sitting in yogurt. so now im wondering is the dark area that i 1st thought maybe ink is actually mold:cry: So completely disgusting and curious what would you do if this happened to you? It cost like .59 cents so getting my money back obviously isnt that big of a deal but would you still make it known to Kroger?

Call Kroger since thats the brand of yogurt. im sure they have a customer support number 1-866-221-4141. tell them the situation. that would be my advice. You'll be okay even if it is a form of mold.

No, it not made from mold and cheese isnt "made" from it either. Both are just milk inoculated with certain bacteria, and some grow mold in/on the cheese. (like blue cheese and brie)

Not sure who makes Kroger brand yogurt, but most store brand products are made by various big brand name companies as well. There are also companies that specialize in private label product development that also make select products for the big brands. A lot of the newer items you see come out are made by the private label companies as sort of a test so the larger companies don't have to invest too much on a new product. This also applies to some of the distributors who have their own private labels.
