The last time I really saw one was back in 2007, in Houston Texas. I ended up racing a yellow one, body kit, Celica GT-S swap, and other things. Pretty cool little car. That was the same night I got my shit pushed in by a b16a ef on nitrous.

This is one of those cars that falls into the category of: Yes that potentially could be a fun car, but I would never be caught dead behind the wheel of one.

they only look good if they have hardtops on them.. for some reason... other than that... i dont really care much for them.. but 2nd gens look better.

I haven't really seen many on the roads for a while, but I don't miss them. I do love the 2nd gens though.

I believe that they came with a regular Celica GT engine (1ZZ-FE). The forums that I've read have a lot of MR-S owners doing GT-S (2ZZ-GE) swaps with the six speed transmission, and a lot of them try to switch over to five lug from the GT-S at the same time as well, if they hadn't already swapped it out due to better wheel choice and brake benefits.

I saw a dumbass in a yellow one with numbers on the side weaving in and out of traffic on 120 not too long ago trying to catch my 4runner to look at my intersmoother. He almost killed 15 people to look at it. Idiot.

LOL

I wouldn't take a Fiero no matter what it had in it, horrible cars.

Saw this bad boy in a magazine a few years ago. I fell in love with the K-Series swap. Notice the early gen MR2 "spread eagle" badge on the front bumper too. Nice touch.
