D series water neck

Does anyone know if you use RTV on the upper water neck (the one with the bleeder valve) do you just install it straight metal to metal?

since you CANT get hondabond.. Try the RTV, cant hurt to try..

agreed with the high temp RTV, make sure it's high temp though not just regular, that stuff gets real hot. i think most of the time it's orange in color from most parts stores.

Thanx guys. I actually went with the "Thermostat and Water Pump" RTV before anyone answered. I'm letting it cure overnight so we will see how it does when I get home. If it leaks I'll try the red stuff.
