I just tried COD:MW2 online for the first time today and when i tried to find a match to join, all it did was search and search. Once it even searched for at least 20 mins. Ive tried all the different match types but it never seems to "find" me a match. Am I doing something wrong, or do i just have a shitty connection?

It may be some sort of firewall over there or something. Also I think it tries to connect you with people closer to you so you get a better connection. So being in the sandbox may be fucking you.

$170 for 30 days? PISS ON THAT! Do you have access to a computer all the time or no? If so, I would look into a PC game instead

My comp is a POS, no gaming for it. $170 is a shit load of money but when you take into consideration how much time a day I spend on it, its prolly gonna be worth it...
The plan I have now is $75 per month and they have one plan in between mine and the $170 one...

Ask around and see if anyone else plays XBOX on it before you buy it. Plus make sure you dont have to set your connection up some special way too.

I have heard success stories about the more expensive one already...
I can understand it having lag when i play but it not putting me into any matches doesnt make any sense...

When I first started playing my NAT type was strict and I still found matches. I went into my my router setting and it is no longer strict, I find matches quicker now but I never had a problem not finding one at all...

If you have Access to your router, put the connection to your xbox on DMZ or DMZplus, this prevents the connection from having any sort of NAT issues, it works wonders for my xbox, it was doing the same for mine before I did this.

i dont have access to my router because it is a huge network, almost like you would have in an office. It has one big router that sends the internet to 20 rooms. I was able to play private matches yesterday with a friend but it just wont find me any ranked matches. the only way I have been able to play was when my friend hosted a private match...

Your NAT should be Open for the best connection. Most of the time, when I'm by myself, I can search for a match for 10, 15 minutes. Then I can exit, try again, and get thrown in one right away. Though when I'm in a party, they constantly lose me when going into matches.
I'ts really weird. The matchmaking sucks big most of the time.

what i usually do, assuming your on xbox live, is go to your player's list that you've played with before. You'll see if you're able to join their game or not. If you're able to join, it'll shoot you right in, instead of waiting for 10 minutes to find a game.

Thats what i do and it seems to be working out for me, once I get in one match Im good to play till I dont want to anymore. +25
