View Full Version : so i got a call from dekalb county......

courts about the accident i was involved in on august 18th. the guy that hit me (name withheld ,cause he's screwed enough as it is) has his arraignment(sp?) on NOV. 10. the charges that stand as as follows:
1) speeding
2) failure to maintain lane
3)driving with a suspended/revoked license
4) D.U.I.
5) driving under the influence of drugs
6) i forgot what that one was, 'cause the charge was a long one involving "roadways"

i'm called forth to be a witness for his trial.....though technically i'm the victim.

I'd like to know, that's all. If he has little to no injuries and if the guy has little to know money and/or insurance, he won't get much. You can't take money from where there isn't any nor where there isn't cause.

People assume that you can get big bucks in accident cases, but I am living proof that this isn't always the case. My curiousity is piqued, to say the least. :)
