Looking for an ACCOUNTANT

like the title says...I am in need of an accountant to handle my tax work, expenses, business related matter, and mortgage stuff. If you are one or know someone that knows someone, then please let me know. Thank you

FYI- I prefer someone with at least 5 yrs experience and not working from their basement.

i am not really looking for someone to take care of my finances on "the side" ....preferably someone that have a practice and know what they are really doing....because i have an accountant....he also does it on "the side" and i just got tired of tracking him down everytime i need something. I am not questioning your friend's credibility; I am just looking for a professional. I know that IA is probably not the right place, but I figure it's worth a shot....thanks for the inquiry

FYI my friend is a professional with years of experiences, working for an international corporation. I don't know a whole lot of deal in that department since I belong to engineering team. I'm just throwing it out there since she's also looking for a new job as well because the firm is moving the accounting team to Germany and she can't relocate.

I think there are only us two accountants on the board though I can remember someone else talking about working in the field but I have no idea who that was. I don't do tax work anymore. I am a controller for a software company now, thank goodness. Unfortunately, I don't have any colleagues in Atlanta since I have never worked in public accounting here. My old firm up in Indianapolis handles the tax prep for my current company.

Lol... I was just saying, since the two accountants on the board usually get mentioned in threads like this, that I don't really do tax work any more. But I'm glad you found someone and it seems like you're happy with them so far.

Nope, not single and wish I was loaded. I won't lie and say I'm poor but education and (and the rest of life) isn't cheap.

LOL well you were right about one thing trying to find an experienced accountant on this site, and another thing this isnt a dating site lol. So looking for these 2 things on this site you will probably get very little response just saying.
