i see these picture's all the time of car's with transparent hoods. i thought i would try it and here is my first try at it. if you have any pointers on how to do it better. please lmk. this was done with a slow shutter speed with the hood open and i closed it while the shutter was still open. not going for a great picture but would like to learn how to do this better.

i always thought people took 2 pics one open, and one closed, and PS the rest... guess not!

That's a whole lot better executed than I have seen. I could use a little more hood in the pic though.

Its normally done with layers because if you notice, you can see the shot as the hood is open

well i was going to take two pictures today and try it in photoshop but the damn rain screwed that up.
