Your Worst Ticket?

I got one...my first one, last year.....driving from Seattle to Atlanta. I got pulled over in Malheur County, Oregon apparently going 90 in a 65, in a FULLY LOADED 10ft. U-haul.

:police:State Trooper pulled me over and said his buddy clocked me, and asked with a grin on his face, "How did you get this thing to go that fast?" I looked at him like, what? The lady wasnt so enthused. She was trying to lock me up but gave me a 'warning' and told me to get back to Atlanta safely....

After I got back I had a letter in the mail 4 days later with a ticket for $435.

That sucked.

Im still trying to figure how the hell a U-Haul could go that fast? I was cruising at 70 for the majority of the drive. :???:

So, what was you worst 'Ticketed' experience?

Going 87 in a 70 on 75 in Dooly county. Ticket ended up being $246 since they charge $25 just for convenience charges if you pay online...Long story short, DON'T SPEED IN DOOLY COUNTY!!! Got another one doing 61 in a 45 in Valdosta and it was $125. I also got a warning for reckless endangerment for going 25 in a 5mph parking deck on campus cause i was late for class...

74 in a 45 in monroe county back in 04'...that cost me $271, 67 in a 55 in houston county in 03' cost me $180, the most recent was 85 in a 70 in peach county this past october...that hit me for $113...been pulled over numerous times in bibb county and got a warning everytime (knocks on wood!) got a warning from bibb county's finest for 62 in a 45 and once again 67 in 45 and i had just drank 6 beers and had 2 cases in the front seat with me...macon is awesome!

63 in a 40 when i was 17yo, i was late to school and was going at a ''spirited'' pace through Duluth... needless to say, they're extremely harsh when it comes to speeders under the age of 21, even more harsh than Gwinnett county... It was lowered from 23mph over to 20mph over by the solicitor in court and i still had to do 20hours community service, watch the teen driver's video made by GA state trooper's office, $500.00 fine, had to write an essay on the video, and take a defensive driving class all in a 2month time period or they were gonna suspend my license for 6months. I kept it though. And i still got the 3points on my license too, and im still under 21 lol so no more of getting caught doing anything for me or its bye-bye license for at least 6months...!

90 in a 55 on 400(Officer that pulled me over reduced it to 69 in a 55 cause it was my first ticket in 5 years)
71 in a 55 and a seatbelt ticket(same stop)
89 in a 65(reduced to 70 in a 55 by the judge)
The last two were all in 3 days of eachother

ive gotten countless warnings tho, for speeding 49 in a 35, 42 in a 35 and loud music, and another speeding 65 in a 45. the 65 in a 45, i wasnt actually clockd because i just flew through an intersection n the cop was at the light. when he stoped me he ssaid he could easily take me to court n say i was going the fast b/c he has yrs of experience blah blah blah. let me off with nothing after checking my licence etc.

wait..i have another one. i cut off a cop once cause my gf called me saying someone broke into her appt. So i rushed over and i cut off a "undercover" cop. He put me on the hood, cuffed me, made me show him where she lived, and see if the story played out. There was 3 backup cops when we got there. I coulda gone to jail for speeding, reckless driving, and no signal. but I got off with a warning. Gotta love maine.

Speeding 81 in 55(on fucking 85) I thought it was 65 all over. Than 6x in 45. I lost my DL since i was only 18 for 6 months. Since than I watch my speed.

i was clocked at 112 in a 55 (on 285). ticketed and taken to jail. car was impounded. went to court for it and it was dismissed without prosecution. the officer didnt show up.

worst one that i got convicted of was 96 in a 45 coming off of a corner up on blood mountain. yes, that was another arrest. the charges were speeding and reckless endangerment. they dropped the R.E. but didnt lower the speed one bit. the speed alone was 6 points. that was lumpkin county (north ga)

my "worse" is actually my most annoying ticket to me. which was not moving over violation. cop was just sitting on the left side of the hwy with no one pulled over and flipped his lights on then i went by and got a ticket for not moving over which i then found out that became a law in 2003 or something....lame and very annoying.

I once got a street racing ticket and went to jail when I was 16.

1) I wasn't racing, and plus I was in a 100% 1999 stock camry.

2) Apparently if a 240 pulls up to a red light next to you and spins his tires it means we're racing I also wasn't accelerating fast and never even broke speed limit.

3) Went to jail, eventually plead not guilty, got charge dropped. Everything could've been avoided if that female cop had some common sense.

First speeding ticket ever I was clocked doing 137 in a 55mph.

... I waited for the cop. Smart move on my part, because 2 miles up was a small town that was hosting an African American heritage festival, and there were 15 GSP in there. That I counted. Gotta love south GA :D I was 20 at the time. Dropped to 14 over, $120, and Defensive Driving within 3 months.

My most expensive was a no tag ticket - something like $420 ( we were getting my Starion to pass emissions so we did a few tweaks and took it out late at night )

Mine was 103 in a 70 on I-985. Cop had a team waiting for me several miles up the road to grab me. Charged with Speeding and Reckless Driving. Arrested and spent 6 hours in the can. Took defensive driving, pleaded nolo, judge dropped the Reckless. Total ticket was $700 and no points. Have slowed down ever since. :goodjob:

Driving with no Ins: 1st time $1300 and probation. 2nd time $1800 and 3 mos no license/probation. Man when you pay monthly it gets worse, $255 a month and I think I ended up paying a grand total of like $4500 to Fayette Co. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!! Back in 2002-2003.

84 in a 55, clocked on a circular on ramp before i ever touched the interstate. i was balls deep into 4th gear when i passed the macon police on the side of the road, looked down as i passed and was in the 120 area and just went ahead and pulled over.

guy was real nice, very polite, told me he locked me in at 84 and wasn't going to give me a break on the mph since it was pretty obvious i was going faster than that when i passed him. the fucked up part was i thought i was getting out of the ticket because of gun shots that could be heard from the interstate....turns out if was fireworks at a football stadium right off the interstate where i was pulled over.

luckily a sheriff my wife knows owed her a favor and was able to get it to disappear....which makes that only other speeding ticket i've gotten, 65 in a 50, the worst ;)

122 in the Rx-7, cop didnt catch me until 7 1/2 miles later in my drive way, dont know exactly how he found me, but he reduced it to 75 in a 55 construction zone, his reason for taking it down, "I used to have a red Turbo II", Not all cops have camaros in their garage! ended up paying like 550 sum odd dollars.
