99% of companies outsource. For example, Memphis is highly talked about on IA and 90% of their lineup is made by a company in China. Viper is another major brand made in China.

Alpine is good, just their cd/dvd/nav units are all pricey compared to the competition.

The system comes with a SD card loaded with US and Canada maps. It has 2 SD slots, one for the map card and a second one for you to use. The GPS processor is by Samsung and it also has Windows 5.0. I will update all the info on the first post shortly with all the details. You can add a external HDD unit up to 20GB to it.

Simply stated, does this unit blow away a Alpine or Pioneer unit? No. However, this unit offers all the top fuctions, high quality components and build, amazing video quality, and a price that is great.

No, we are not getting out of car audio. I have been toying with the idea of removing car audio from my Norcross store to make room for other stuff, but will still sale it. I co-own another car audio company and sell much more out of that outlet than the Norcross store. We stock 90% of Kenwood from headunits to amp/subs.

If you have a GM vehicle, then you may need the GMOS...don't know what vehicle it is going in. It can also be hardwired so you do not need the expensive GMOS piece. Yes, DVD bypass is easily bypassed and can be viewed during driving.

Yeah, you need the GMOS-LAN-03...it is $90. We charge an extra $20 if you want us to hardwire it, this way you save $70.

GMOS will allow you to retain all chimes, etc. Hardwiring it will bypass the stock system and allow the headunit to work. You can do it with any unit.
