View Full Version : THICK paint coat on my tail lights..

So the idiot i bought my car from when he painted the car he painted the taillights along with it givin it some stupid dragon design..and ive been trying to remove it with all sorts of things from thinner to nail polish remover to paint remover
and it wont come off..thats the only reason i do those threads about needing taillights..cause my whole car looks fine but those tail lights make it look UGLY:no: So what can i use to remove that paint...:thinking:

very fine grit sandpaper. Then buff the lense out.

should i put on anything like thinner or paint remover before?
or just straight sand it and buff it

wetsand and buff it dude.

Dont use thinner....it will probably damage the plastic.

try something less chemicaly hott like denatured alcy
might help to if you you know kinda product is on there
latex oil xylene solvant ect..
