There may be an RX-9 someday in the future, but as of right now, it hasn't even been conceived. The RX-8 is still popular and relatively new so I believe we'll be sticking with it for a while.

No such thing and not even a concept yet. Don't expect it anytime soon if ever at all

I've heard about RX9 about 1.5 years ago from someone who worked at Mazda R&D. He told me that it was going to be announced end of 2005 or beginning of 2006. We'll see if thats true or not (as end of 2005 is here already).
