I've only searched on this subject for maybe 15-20 minutes, but I've come to a conclusion on your inquiry.

Officially no, they are not SFI rated. The only reason why I found is that they aren't 5 point harnesses. The same 2" harness, but with the crotch belt is SFI rated. I don't understand why, maybe a crotch belt makes all the difference? :thinking:

These will tear and become unbuckled in a collision. Ok I don't know that for sure, but the belts are thin and it's just a simple buckle. You can buy a real harness all day for $60-100 SFI approved.
