Be careful with Kosei's, they are a very hard compound and will crack over a serious pot hole. I've cracked two jumping the gators on the track and what not, I guess you could say they are hit or miss, but I just try to keep my drive smoother when my k1's are mounted

Ya I a pretty good eye out for stuff even with the stock wheels.

Nothing wrong with properly cut springs.

OMG Its Platz

Now properly cut they are, just too soft for my liking and I'm not gonna do autocross in the end of feb with them. Fuuck that

Sway bars will make a difference more then springs.

OMG Its Platz
01-16-2010, 09:01 AM
But its a soft spring rate no matter wut.. It needs to be stiffer

How much is it cut? Stiff spring rates only work well with lots of other mods. Just adding stiff rates to a stock car will probably make the car handle worse.

That sir u are wrong, any improvements u make will improve handling, jsut depend on how fast and drastic u wanna do it. U can do it little by little or all at once. My m3 had full bilstein coil over.. Car handled amazing

Not true, adding a really stiff spring rate to an otherwise stock car will not really benefit handling as well as say adding sway bars would. A very stiff car does not mean it handles good.

Obviously a full coilover kit will help, those aren't even that high of rates anyway, and it's an M3 which already has good suspension from the box.

Yeah it's kind of retarded.

"Hook?"

I bet you go to a road race and see a car with wing/slicks and ask what it runs in the quarter and how it "hooks" lol. ;)

Noooo... If I get springs like I said above, I'm getting the shocks and struts too... there for it will improve
