I do it, 20 bucks and a case of Dr. pepper. It's starting to wear out my shoulder. I start by shaking the cans rapidly then throwing them as hard as i can at the car.

A guy I work with does it, he did my intake manifold on my z28. Came out awesome, you need 4 wheels done? I'll see about getting a price from him.

Here is the inside of my manifold after he blasted it. Not 100% like new, but damn good. Can't find the before pics, but it was nasty. Wheels should be easy for him.

Millers powder coating would probably sand blast them for you.

lol because you think soda blast will make a difference than a sand blast?

plastic media is better that soda....... just sayin.....

and if your really feeling like a pussy go for walnut shells....

but other than that sand blast ftw....

pmb is good for a polishable surface with no surface degrade..

walnut shells is good for finish removal of well like gold or silver..... like if you were to blast a saxophone or maybe a flute...... but......

i see no reason you'd rule out sand blasting over soda blasting for wheels..

do your research there is a difference. go take sandpaper to the lip of your wheels and see what you get. im not looking to do a major clean up after i get this done. on another note if i wanted SAND BLASTING then i would have fucking asked for it.

oh i agree. the 2 are about the same but with soda i wouldnt have to refinish the surface as much as with media or sand.
