Hey I have an alarm thats remote start and keyless entry I've had someone tell me that it could damage the starter or something like that? I don't think it will but I want to get some other opinions about it. It's for a 98 accord, 2.3 sedan. Also does anyone know where I can get it installed that won't take all day to do? Thanks in advance for the info.

Remote start can damage a starter if installed incorrectly, then again pretty much anything can mess up something when it is installed in correctly. I have installed about 50 remote start systems in my life.... never had one come back on me. Never messed up a started unless there was already a problem. They can be installed into a gas or diesel, auto or manual, doenst matter when done properly.

It will not damage anything if installed correctly. My car is also manual. I know honda's wiring diagram by heart.
