What detached from inside the car during the crash? It looks like a partition or harness of some sort.

I know what you are describing but i don't know its actual name.
Its a removable device that allows for the driver to have a soft pad in case of an impact that causes serious horizontal head movement.

Most of the time, i see the driver get in the car and it is installed after he is seated and vise versa when they get out.

I don't believe that is accurate. There was no one seriously injured. Not even Viso.
