I wouldnt worry about it too much, since you have an older chassis, as long as you have a good catalytic converter on the car and depending on which code its throwing, it could still very well pass.

my Camaro had the light on and passed the emissions. OBD1 is doesnt matter about 90% of the time. Just make sure the cat converter is good and you shouldnt have a problem.

i know walton, bartow, floyd, and hall don't need emissions on this list, however emissions was supposed to be statewide by 2011. hopefully the govt drags it's feet and can't get organized enough by then. i enjoy being in non-emissions county now.

not always true. my bf kept failing and he put a converter on it and it still failed. could be a sensor throwing it off

But These cars tend to do this and they try and test it inside the car or on the hood.....Take it to someone you know if not let me know I know someone that can pop the hood and test it that way...and it they can get a reading!!
