Seen a few write ups of this and decided to try it today.

What you will need: (Part numbers are from Summit Racing)

(1) pair Male -3 AN to Male 10mm x 1.0 Earls Brake Adapters EAR-592032ERL ($14.69)

(2) steel -3 AN swivel hose ends. Style is up to you.
I used 1 regular hose end - AER-FBM1100 ($5.25) &
1 45deg hose end - AER-FBM1110 ($10.25)

(1) -3 AN braided hose 10ft length. EAR-610003ERL ($29.95)

(NOTE) You probably wont need 10ft of the hose (I only used bout 4 or 5ft.) but Summit was sold out of 6ft so I just got the 10ft :goodjob:

(1) DOT 3 brake fluid - any qty/brand should work

THE INSTALL

Take a 10mm wrench and unscrew the fitting like so..

Install the new 10mm fittings. (NOTE: That notch of the block may get in your way a little but not so bad to where it wont screw in the threads. Just make sure you get it started good)

I then mapped out where I wanted to run the line. I wanted easy access to it so I just ran it over the top of the tranny back behind the T Bracket, behind all the hardline brakelines and over the brake booster.
I had a lot of excess hose so I tapped off where I wanted to cut it and used a punch and hammer to cut it like so..

Install the braided hose to the hose ends. Check this link (http://www.anplumbing.com/SWIVEL_SEAL_HOSE_ENDS.html)for install instructions.

Then just run the line where you want it and hook up the hose ends and VOILA!

they make a kit for my car for $40, so i may go that way. Once the car is running, let us know if you can tell a difference.

EDIT: It's $24, but its only from the resevoir to the master cylinder. I'll be doing this though.

What does changing the hard line out net you? I know on my car they make a replacement for the rubber part, but I don't see a need to replace the hard line.

I believe its pretty much just cosmetic. It looks way better than the hardline and you can maneuver it where you want :goodjob:
