I need to find a paint code/color which I think was on a Nissan Xterra a few years ago. It's as close to a glossy Army green as you can find. Kind of like the new Nissan Cube color, minus the pearl.

If you know of that one, or a close one to it, or your favorite mossy/army green then please share away. I should mention that I am not a total idiot...I tried to google it and find it, and I had no success.

I like that D13, but I think the D-12 is what I'm thinking of...the only pic I can find is a RHD ITR which is where I saw the color first a few years ago...I think a guy in KY built it.

UPDATE !!!!!

Paint should be done in the next couple of weeks. I've been gone so much working on Top Gear that I didn't really have time to mess with it, so it was put aside a bit. It's in the final coat of primer, so next week all the doors are coming off to get jammed and then it will be in the booth after that. I'm really excited about it.

It is crazy straight now! It had lots of little rust here and there and it all got cut out and replaced...plus I had them shave the side molding.

The only thing now is that I'm having a slight debate on my original paint choice. D-12 Tank Green is what I've been planning on, but for some reason, I'm thinking about a surf green or sea foam green.

Who knows... Hope you like!

I think the tank green is little too aggresive a color for an old wagon. Looks better on a drift/race car. But the surf green would be great, or maybe a more minty green. i can't wait to see how it turns out. And looking foward to Top Gear aswell, since Top Gear UK is my favorite show!

Thanks man! I think I'm probably still going with the tank green, but with the new 13's I picked up today thanks to Echonova, I think it's going to set it off perfectly. I think my surf green will look better on my 53 plymouth which will sit next to this one in the garage...but who knows. It's so easy to play "I wonder what it will look like" but I've always had that color choice in my head for this.

Top Gear will premier some time in late Nov. or early Dec. but I'll let everyone know for sure before then!

My 0 offset 15's still sit inside the fenders, with those rims over half of the tire is outside of the car. But I'm not sweating it, they look good and I'll eventually find a use for them.

UPDATE !!!

SO..it's been a while so here's my update.

Car is finished with paint. Really looks great and I'm really happy with how it turned out. Brian did an incredible job. It's tank Green, factory nissan color. We decided to paint the pitted chrome stuff rather than put it back looking half assed. I like how it kind of changed it to more of a prelude-ish look to it.

Also, we started a roof rack, and I like the bones of it, but I'm going to redo it..I wasn't there and my carpenter friend can really make it kick ass.

So it's pretty sweet in my opinion. Now, the car is at Mainstream Performance in Dallas,GA where Charles is working his magic.

Swap is from a 96 Integra LS. He has 33'' of clearance for 37'' of motor and tranny, but he's a magician and got it to work. It now has mounts since this picture was taken. Lots of little stuff to figure out...like trying to keep AC cause it's damn hot down here in ATL in the summers, possible new gauge cluster, wether or not a KiddRacing header will fit...what axles to use since the factory ones are way too long.

Plus, I'm going to be running a new set of Enkei 92's on it, and I'm doing the debate of 15x7 35mm+ or 15x8 25mm+ and KW Suspension is still trying to figure out what we could use on the front to get this thing down since the struts on this are a little weird. I'm open to any suggestions you guys have...the guy before me used oem DC springs and struts with some crazy washer/bolt action to keep them in. Slammed it and in theory still had travel, but it wasn't done right.

Then, get my recaro's recovered, get a stereo in there, and hopefully one of my friends will take it to Import Alliance if it's done in time since I'm sure I'll be on the road, either with NASCAR or Top Gear.

The project actually started with me thinking about an S2k swap since it has leafs springs in the back, but I realized quickly how pricy that would get. I wanted to build a good daily that was reliable, so thats why I went with the B18.

It's literally doubling the power the car had, but if I need to go GSR swap in the future, then I'll just have to save up and do it.

And dont worry about the height! Once we get the swap sorted, then we'll move to that :)

I can understand, you kinda want some wires exposed with it being a frankenstein of a beast. AC is needed too, not having it is suicide, especially on those humid ATL days (which is almost always.) You find an excursion yet? I think jalopnik had a story on how a company is making newish style excursions, ill see if i can find the story.

also echonova, i know where you can get some 155-65 13's to your door for like $180.....tires-easy.com. see sig , those are 13x8 +31 offsets with 155-65's

saw the wagon at mainstream around dec. when i was picking up my hatch from being worked on the roof rack made me look at it and its going to be a clean wagon cant wait to see it finished and looks better in person more of a olive color to me it looks like a factory color that it could of came with
