I think the cars I've chosen are GREAT! LOL...But I'm biased...why not add more cars (like I stated in the #2 calendar thread). Some of the girls are only using one car...mainly the ones that are posing on their own car, why not have them choose another car of their choice, of the people who didn't get in it? I am being serious. The lighting is going to have to be exactly right to capture the lines and detail of jaime's car while not blowing out josh's. It can be done and it makes it a little easier when you have PS but setting it up in a good location is going to be key.

You would not be able to get the details and capture the lines of each car in a group photo. Take the G35 for example, that is a hard car to shoot since it is black but put it in the right location in the late afternoon/early morning and you can pull off an amazing shot that captures all the lines and details of the car.

I would think so but you have to watch the time of day. Daylight hours are the worst to shoot in. Danny and Jaime can attest to this. It is best to have a couple of photographers (jaime and myself, Danny and another person, maybe 2 more) that could go to different locations to shoot and you could knock out 3 at a time using the ideal light (early morning/late afternoon-sunset).

Its a freaking first run calender made basically for the members of IA. This is in no way a representation of the Atlanta Scene. If you want something like that then put it together and we can arrange some people to shoot it but until then, let it go. Ren is working to try and put this together and it seems that she is doing a good job so far and I am sure we can put one out for 2007 with the best of Atlanta cars if that is something you would like to help her put together.

From what I got there is a IA calendar coming out with just cars... This project was to Showcase the girls of IA and Showcase a variety of IA cars... Thats why I let the girls pick their own cars.. after I got bitched at for the people of IA not having ANY say I put a post up for nominees which has been up for 2 days now..But I didnt even have to use any of them...

The place where we did the photoshoot for the supras at the old fulton county stadium parking lot would be a perfect place... huge parking lot...and the photographers can get up on the stairs walker got on and take it from up high

The girls and cars (well most of em) have been chosen.. Im leaving the places up to the Model/Car Owners.. Once they let me know the place they want.. I will contact the photographers and we will set up a time... The hardest part has been done.. picking the girls/cars.. now we just need the pics and we will go from there..

Several things, since I arrived late to the party yet again:

1. Thank you Lauren for all the love. :goodjob:
2. Thanks to everyone else for the props too. I truly appreciate that.
3. I will gladly take as many pics as necessary. I'm always ready for that.
4. I like the idea Paul had of "runs". Letting the girl have 2 shots with 2 cars rather than 1 shot with both cars sounds good to me. How we will combine that in the page and not make it look "shutter" like is the hard part. I like the idea though. Some car combos are gonna be hard to shoot otherwise. It's not the girl's fault, just the nature of the beast.
5. I think we need to have a minimum of 2 photographers shooting. If we could have all of us there, even better. Why? Simple, more pics to choose from. It is much better to have to decide between 5 great shots, than having to SETTLE for 1 mediocre one.
6. I suggest we have a couple of main stickied threads to follow so we don't get miscommunication or misinformation.
7. One thread we need to get started on is to share locations for possible photoshoots. Remember that weather is going to play a serious role on outside shots, which I assume the majority of these will be. Can't have the girls in bathing suits or think attire in the middle of winter.
