I have owned 4 or 5 of them. THEY ARE FUN to shoot. You can buy a bunch of cheap airsoft tacticool items for them for cheap. They are fun for plinking. Make sure you clean them thoroughly after shooting them. The major problem people have with these things is the ammo. None of mine liked shooting the subsonic ammo. Two of mine had problems feeding the hp ballistic tip style ammo even after i polished and recut the feed ramps. You can find them used for cheap on gunbroker and some local forums. ALOT of people went to shooting these because of the cheap price. DONT buy the cheap magazines that have the plastic followers or plastic feeder lips on the mag. When you shoot alot of rounds quickly they heat up adn the plastic melts like the ruger 10/22 mags.

Anywho.. overall they are fun plinkers. BUY USED when you can.

You'd better hurry if you want a new one, they have to stop selling them at the end of this month due to a lawsuit from H&K.

Not these that I know of. H&K did make the UMP45 which was a polymer evolution of the MP5 platform.

Extreme fun gun. Magazines are very touchy though. Like Giant said, don't by the cheap knock offs if you can. Also as he said, the gun is ammo sensitive sometimes, especially when dirty. I don't shoot dirty, so I only had a problem once with some cheap ammo. It is very accurate plinker and ultra cheap to shoot. I'm going to start picking up some little accessories soon. My son loves to shoot it. Get one. :goodjob:

That's likely the Sig 552. It's a sweet looking weapon. I'd imagine it's a lot like the GSG in how it shoots. :goodjob:

There is a snazzy little ar15/22 for sale on woodys forum for like $525 or something like that. A nice one with a decent price for a whole gun!

The sig looks nice, just bulky looking to me. I like the way the Ruger sr22 looks. I bet they are fun guns.
