These videos give me chills. I don't even know if there is such a thing as a "Porsche feeling", but I definitely don't get the same excitement from driving a honda or a mazda. Maybe I'm just crazy or too in love with my car, but to me, no other car can give the same experience as a Porsche.

This is why Porsche is the only brand that is actually worth a damn.

NOT trying to take away from Porsches thunder, but being what some people would call a fanboy, that video reminded me of this one.

NOT trying to start an arguement here, but I think the Porsche video had more of the essence of Porsche. It showed why Porsche differs and how the cars and the owners connect through the driving and the experience. Mazda just promoted the car. Good video though :goodjob:

That video is all about current marketing. If it was properly done, Jim Downing's cars would have made their presence.

I realize Mazda has good history in American racing but Porsche's race history ranks second to none the world over. Not even Ferrari.

It is the ultimate brand winning everything there is to win.

yeah, I just said it reminded me, I liked the feel of the Porsche one not feeling like an advertisement, and the soundtrack and pace was better. But the Mazda one actually did air as a commercial, so that's probably why it feels like one haha.

They are both ads.

Both are done to their respective crowds.

It's just the Porsche ad puts in words what Porsche enthusiast have always known.

Cool vid.

As for Mazda vs. Porsche

I got to drive an FC for a short while at TGPR. I'll probably never get to do that in a Porsche. Comparing them is hard seeing how maybe a fistful of people on this site have driven both brands on track. Still probably personal preference and fanboyism choice anyway.

Do not make this a Mazda vs Porsche thread.

Why?

1 win at the Sarthe doesn't contest with 16 overall. Then there are the class wins.

Lots here have probably tracked a Porsche, just ask to drive! Porsche VS Mazda makes no sense at all lol.

Ugh, yeah, I was stating I didn't want it to be Mazda Vs. Porsche, just, Porsche's awesome vid, and Racing pedigree. Stay on that topic.
