Do want. Headers and exhaust free up a decent amount of power in those cars.

Throw some LM's on there too.

it has a clutch and a flywheel, no torque converter, and no drivetrain loss. Its a manual that has an electronically controlled TOB and shift actuator. 8 lbs more than a 6 speed car and unless you are Mario Andretti.........its faster.

Right he is. It's actually the same tranny and clutch as the 6spd manual, but instead of a clutch pedal + traditional shifter the actuators do all the shifting. I has paddle shifters mounted on the steering wheel, or it can be put in full automatic mode. Each mode has 6 settings to adjust the RPM range it shifts at, and the speed of each shift. In S6 it shifts at redline and can shift in 80 milliseconds.

SMG is a love it or hate it sort of thing. I drive in a lot of traffic, so it's nice to commute in full auto. And I still have the paddle shifting for trackdays, and one of the best parts is that it takes the possibility of a misshift out of the equation.

I rarely use the paddles. The best part is the electonic launch control, the rev-match downshifts, and just holding the fucker to the floor on acceleration. It's literally a perfect upshift and downshift every time.

You'll hate SMG until you master it. After that, you'll never want a normal manual again.

How is what?

We didn't really abuse the inventory. We always got one model of a certain car that was ours so we did our demos and test drives with that specific one.

Yeah, I was looking to trade for that car about 2 months give or take ago. Then when the numbers didn't fall through my parents drove down there and looked at it. My father was thinking about picking it up. Solid car, drove good and the SMG was in good shape. You got a killer car man! :goodjob:

Congrats bro!!!!!!!!!!

So true, I've noticed all the crying and people telling the O.P what to do with it. Also what tranny in it yada yada. So guys go buy your own and pick your tranny, mods and what not on your budget and you would have to bitch to this guy about his car. I say just drive the dawn car and enjoy it because at the end of the day none of these guys gonna pay for your mods, and trying to discount it when you want to sell it simple as that. Enjoy!

I thought the Euro exhaust has cats in section 1?I think you're right. They just moved the location and they're higher flow. I'm gonna have to research this some more! HiRide on here is making about 330whp with the euro "catless" exhaust and piggyback...i'm confused what exhaust it is now lol!

Not the same car. This one was traded in a couple months ago for a newer M3. Previous owner was in Alpharetta. Carfax was pretty clean. It was rearended once at a low speed. All it did was scrape some paint off the bumper (which was replaced). I checked the entire rear of the car over good. What really sold me was it already had a BMW CPO 100K mile warranty good until 2012. Only has 40K on it now, and it was serviced by United BMW before I got it so I should be good for a while. I was planning on selling my S2000 first this summer, and getting a M3. Once I saw/drove this one I knew it'd be gone, and I'd never find another this nice locally later. Plus it was the color combo I wanted, SMG, and it had the Competition Package, and the warranty was just a huge bonus.

Euro, or something else? Running Cats? How's the shark? I've been thinking about one. I have to pass emissions. I'd like to find some that are a direct bolt on with a good fitment, without having to weld my own O2 bungs, etc.
