SO here lately my girls car has started having the battery light start blinking just at random times, lights dimming, ect.

The car has an alternator (aftermarket OEM) That was replaced prob. around a year and a half ago.

It has been tested fine, and when you un hook the battery the car still runs fine with out skipping a beat

I have replaced the battery 3 times, this last time with a battery that was working fine in my daily, but the light is still blinking.

Light i said it doesn't do it in a pattern of any sort, just randomly while driving.

I am kinda thinking maybe the alternator plug (Green 6 wire, i believe, plug that goes in) Might have some corrosion making a bad contact randomly, it started after the car sat for around 2-3 months.

Oh and the last battery we took out, started getting really hot, having a sulfur smell to it, replaced it and that hasn't happened again

Any tips, or suggestions on where to start looking/replacing?

check the plug, and the grounds. If thats not it, it's probably the alternator....

Run a temp ground from the frame to a bolt on the alternator and see if the issue goes away if it does you know you have a ground problem.
