:no:There is oil seeping or leaking from between block and head right where the HG sticks out a lil. Seems to have gotten worse since I put in the VTEC ecu. What could it be???

Cam seals?

My GSR leaks there also, cam seals.

Pass side right near block code. Cam cap is good and I don't think it's the solenoid either.

could be a bad HG... My b20 did the same thing. I replaced the HG and it quit. Check valve cover gasket, too.

ok that rules out cam seals. if cam cap is good and solenoid is good..hmm maybe re torque the head? what motor is in there? is oil leaking right on to the engine code?

Yeah right on engine code, and it's a B18b1 with ITR head.

yeah did you use em? if not that could be the problem. its not sealed very well when the oil goes back in the block. i had that problem with my Ls v. i used oem head bolts. this might be the problem. maybe re torque the head.

Yea, well, if they are the factory head bolts that have been reused, buying a new headgasket isn't going to fix a thing. Over torquing them isnt the solution either. I'm assuming you didnt build the motor yourself.

1. If there are OEM headbolts, replace them with ARP Head studs.
2. Make sure the headgasket is good. Replace it anyway to be safe instead of sorry.
3. Torque everything down to spec!!!

Man I rarely have time to mess with my car right now Mike, and there are a few things about the motor I'm not sure of. I guess I need to buy some parts and start work!!

Its the cam seals, that a very common problem with vtec cars.

start with the easiest things first then move to worse case scenario...

check your valve cover gasket(95% of the time thats what it is).

Thanks guys, I didn't build it myself and I checked everything except HG. I guess I'll just have to see.
