have you tried x-fares?? i dunno how old you have to be, but with the prices going up there are even more stand by seats than before.

My sister and brother got great prices about a month or so ago. They got $196 for ROUNDTRIP to Puerto Rico thru Delta non-stop. That's like a $2-300 savings usually. They ended up getting a steal.

That sucks about Cali. Sometimes they have such good fares, but you have to do the layover in freaking Minnessota or Denver. It's not too bad though.

Jet Blue used to have 1way flights back and forth to PR for $60ea, and DR $99ea way, and that was during the winter! A couple of weeks ago, clark howard had RT to San Juan for $149! I couldnt believe that.

Alex, its worth a shot to call Clark howard on Friday. They always do the friday flyer, and since you are plannign ahead theres a good chance he can find a deal. They have a whole team of people for their friday show that track prices on the fly

I hear ya Alex. Me & Jessie were going to fly out west somewhere for our honeymoon on Memorial Day weekend (SanFran, Montana, etc) but with airfare being as expensive as it is now + hotel costs & rental costs we said fuk it and are just driving to Key West/Miami......
