ok... i have a D16y7. i have put a y8 Skunk2 Intake manifold on it and i have been having problems with it idling to high until it worms up.

Well today i tried fixing the problem. I have a y8 TB that i was gonna put on it and i was gonna change my IACV plug from a 3 wire to a 2 wire plug. Just like it says here

But anyway. After i did it (and everything was don't correctly according to that writeup) when i started up the car it pulsated. i don't know WTF to try now. any body got anything?

what ecu are you now using? how's the throttle cable tension...is there any deflection in the cable w/ throttle closed? coolant hoses connected to the 2 wire iacv on the back of the manifold? did you let it warm up fully?

ok, i'm a dumb ass... i got it running kinda correctly again.

I have a ll the coolant hoses connected and everything but every time i try to Chang over to 2 wire from a 3 wire i am never able to fix it. So i just put it back to the 3 wire and found a way to plug the hole on the bottom of the y7 TB. Now it idles low but it is better than to high. I just have to let it warm up before i move or it will die after acceleration.

Have any more suggestions or should i just leave it how i have it? I'm trying to get all of the "little" things worked out before i boost.

you have to use 2 of the 3 wires at the plug end in the engine bay and move one of the wires in the ecu harness, use a socketed/chipped ecu for your injectors and once warmed up should be good.
