and bought something you wanted reguardless of all opposing opinions?

On saturday i will be getting on a Greyhound bus in the morning and arriving in Tennessee in the afternoon to drive a 20 year old car home. It has almost 300k miles, parts are hard as shit to come by, and only 3% of these cars production came in this trim. But it literally lives in my head 24/7 now. I must have it. My g/f is supporting and thats enough for me, but i just cant help but feel whacky for doing it.

Anyone else been in a similar boat?

I have too! And my blazer sucked teh bawls. Nowhere near as nice as yours Chad. My point sort of is, in no way/shape/form is me buying this car a good idea. Its actually retarded in 99.5% of most peoples eyes. But i have to do it.. and will be poked at for it later. I love the car reguardless of others opinions and will be rocking the crap out of it.

Its underwraps until i actually pull up in my driveway in it.

Dude, I have owned this car since before the days of digital cameras......lol. Seriously, I was like the only guy in town with a cell phone smaller than a shoebox.

It resides in a warehouse far from here. I parked the POS there after the brakes just decided to stop working without warning one day. This was after waiting 6 months for odds and ends parts to get teh car running for the 14th time. Literally, it's been parked since 1994 or so. Lets put it this way, the latest and greatest rubber at the time I replaced the dry-rotted ones on it were Pirelli P6's.......... :lmfao:
