A guy at my work place told in the Cartersville Area that Toyo Tires and Shaw Carpets are/will be hiring.

I heard Toyo was hiring like 300 something odd people? Could be wrong on this but might be worth checking out.

Let me know if anyone comes up with any info on this.
:goodjob::cheers:

I work for Shaw up here.. They mainly did a lot of transfers from other plants (yarn mills/residential carpet mills). So I think they're only hiring about 20 people at Plant 15X. Toyo is hiring though. Starting at $15.97 I think.. not bad money. I went and took the test for them.. not so hard. But I can't take a pay cut.

How would one apply for the TOYO job?

no idea, I assume their website maybe.. since most places require you to fill out application online these days.

I'd fill it out and then give it 24-48 hours and start calling asking for the person that would be doing the hiring

There's nothing about jobs/careers online... I'll double check.

I worked at Toyo for 3 years until I couldn't take the rotating schedule. 2 weeks days then 2 weeks nights. Sounds like cake then you do it. Not worth the money I was making there at all. Good luck though. To apply I think you do it at the Dept. of Labor, that's where I applied.

In Cartersville. I would check the dept. of labor in your area first to possibly save yourself a drive.
