Hey guys, the names Colby.
I live in conyers.
Was referred to importatlanta by Chad Burdette.
I don't own an import car, but as with a lot of people here i have a passion for cars/trucks.
My current vehicle is a 1998 chevy s10 reg cab 2.2 5 speed. It is fully bagged, 5-link backhalf, tubular arms, drop spindles, 1/2" valves, 1/2" lines, 10 gallons of air.
Here are some pics of the truck, i think chad might have posted this pics on this forum before? if not here they are.

Sold both sets of c6's, had to buy some stuff for the truck, had a set of zq8's but curbed them and bent them. and now rocking some 18" wheels that need to be sold!

Well next time (whenever that is) stop in and say what's up. I'm either in a lowered burgundy Grand Am or an old ass Civic (1979).

man, all i can say about those gto wheels, is i need to try them and see if they'll fit. i know i will need a spacer, but without trying them i wouldnt know the exact measurements, and im like you, i hate wheels that stick in or out.
are those gto wheels 18"? they'd sure help the look of the truck out for sure. and maybe i can get rid of just these WHEELS, and swap my tires to a set of gto wheels

you still have your spacers from when you had the C6 wheels?

sold them for 300 back 2-3 months ago. hahaha.
i have shitty luck man...
driving on parker road one day. hit that epic ass pothole riding about 1" off the damn ground, and bam, my ass went all into the curb, messed up the zeeks, and traded those bent wheels for these. which wasn't a bad deal, but they are butt ugly.

aaahhhhhh ive hit that muthafucker before. they need to do something about that.
yeah im not feeling those at all.....see if youu can find the backspace or offset of the GTO wheels. they are a 5 spoke design wheel. im thinking you would need spacers.

im going to ask a couple people on s10f about the gto wheels.
but you cant expect much out of those idiots, they get all butthurt when you even ask a damn question. hhaa..
can you think of any sites where i can even look for info like that? i guess look at gto repro wheels maybe they'd have the same offset?
and im damn near certain they need spacers

i would just google it and see what you can come up with. im pretty sure ive seen people put them on the rear of F-bodies with slicks so im thinking its going to be very close to what your vette wheels were.

chad, turns out the goat wheels are 5x120mm, which isn't the same as the s10's 5x4.75, so i'd have to run a 2" spacer/adapter that goes from 5x4.75to5x120mm.
here is a truck i found online running the goat wheels.
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/251084.
looks pretty decent i'd say.
i am fimiliar with c5 wagons also, are they painted, chrome, or polished?

yea i think they'd look 10x better than what i currently have.
and im not feeling c5 wagons, especially knowing the fronts are 17's. haha. i want at least 18's.
like i said though mane, ask your dad on those gto wheels, and let me know.

Welcome. Nice ride their. I am contemplating now whether to get into mini's. Not sure if I want the bagged ride or not. Kinda ole school and like the static drop and ground effects back in the day for mini's. Nice look though on the C6's. You did the work yourself?

Bagged trucks are NOT old school. Just straight up dropped or hydraulics. Later, QD.

How do you guys think a black bowtie would look on my truck?
ive been considering re-doing my front lights since they have faded some, and also considering painting the bowtie black also since i have plenty of other black accents, my tails are super dark and shiney, markers are blacked out, mirrors are black, door handles are black, wheels, and will have a black valance soon as i need to replace mine.

I think it would look better than the gold, but if it were me and i had the cash i would get rid of the stock grill completely and put an aftermarket grill in

I am a huge fan of the stock grille. never would i swap to a cheap aftermarket chrome or anything like that. The only thing im going to do to this grille is repaint it, and put the flush billet inserts.
maybe one day swap to a noma front, or envoy front, but im not really a fan of them either, as they are played out.
