Like these three chicks I was meeting up with this weekend. My cousin tagged along with me. Dude just got out of a three year relationship, so I could understand him wanting to get laid a little bit but damn. Every piece of ass that came next to me he would try his fucking hardest to divert their attention to him. He was trying to to this to every dude. Didn't matter if they were with fat chicks or whatever.

If you had any "game" to begin with, no one would be able to keep you from anything.
A man is only "cock blocked" because the lady he was trying to get with didn't want him in the first pace.
If a girl really wanted to get with you, then some dude trying to get in the mix would have no effect. Think about for a minute. Later, QD.

Hell he just started dating another girl last night when him and his fiance that he was with for a little over three years and has a son. The bad thing is two of the girls were sluts. Cause each time they were all over me until I went to go piss. But whatever I guess. Also, he just told me when he went to leave he looked in his wallet to get out some money for gas, he discovered someone stole both his truck payment and his credit card he had in his wallet. This might sound a little mean, but karma is a bitch I guess.

I wouldn't say that's always true about the girl not being interested. But who knows. I say that because this one girl I met about two weeks ago I had been talking to pretty seriously, well I had a phone call that I had to take. Was gone for like three minutes. He moved from across the booth to sit beside her and looked at me like I guess you're shit out of luck. I was like alright fuck you then.

This morning when I wake up cause I hear him trying to wake her up. Even tho she is right beside me, he was asking her for her phone number. It never stops. Getting cock blocked is usually just a excuse for lack of game. I got cock blocked all the time when I was first in college, my friends were always the life of the party and I was always just hanging around. No one wants to be with the "tag along".
get your game together and it'll stop, but then again a true friend wouldn't get in the way of you talking to a girl knowing you may have a shot.

I wouldn't really agree with that. I have no game, but I do alright with the females. In addition when I go out with my friends I'm usually the one talking to multiple chicks because they are all over the place trying to be seen. At the same time I don't bother with the dumb chicks they always try to pull. As one of my female friends told me, my laid back attitude is in fact game. I don't agree, but who am I to argue with a female that's always putting in a good word for me.

i have to disagree... there is quite a significance in age differences... and it's not just a number. at 19 you do not have the life experience of someone who is 35. maturity has everything to do with life experience.
granted life experience doesn't mean that you will act mature...but, it does give you a much better foundation.

All situations are different, so I disagree with you. I know 13 year olds that have gone through more than most 20 year olds, and 20 year olds than most 35 year olds...

I agree with qd. If the girl is interested I'm someone else it's not cockblocking. I mean I don't invite competition either, just to remvoe the possibility she might like the other guy more than me, but if it happens it happens
cant get pissed if a girl is more attracted to someone else

I just realized a minute ago that I seem to be having a conversation with you through two different threads. I'm not really trying to be disagreeing with you more so than just trying to give you info from experience rather than from what you think it is. I'm guilty of doing the same thing a lot. If I've never experienced something, I'll just use common sense to rationalize it. Sometimes it's right and sometimes not.
As in the topic above. Later, QD.

If I've never experienced something, I'll just use common sense to rationalize it. Sometimes it's right and sometimes not.
As in the topic above. Later, QD.
i am not using common sense to rationalize the fact that you can't ascertain certain life experience until you actually live it... and certain life experience can never be had until you age...it's just a fact, not common sense. a 13 year old (using the example stated above) cannot know what it is like to pay a mortgage...to have graduated high school...to have experienced the college lifestyle...to have built a career and reaped the rewards of such... these are just a few examples of literally thousands. this is what i meant by a technical impossibility. my rationale still stands... a 19 year old cannot have the life experience of a 35 year old... sheer amount of time on this earth is the reason why.

Lolol. If you say so. Just know that catnip was talking about "going through things" and not life experiences. But you're also not understanding or seeing that there are thousands upon thousands of teenagers that ARE experiencing life experiences that many, many adults never experience. You're not really thinking this through. I know I'm right because I've been there with them. I know a lot of these teenagers personally. You seem to have no idea. I figured at your age, you might know this, but I guess you may have had a pretty good (forgive me for assuming this, but) sheltered life. Later, QD.

a technical impossibility...but, i won't start an argument. as you progress in life, you will understand what i mean.. :)
You haven't done anything to "deserve" an arguement or make me want to start one with you. I'm just giving you my opinion from some observations that I've seen.
I'm only 19, but I do understand what you're saying. I've learned more about life, this year, than I have in my whole life. Life lessons from certain occurances can bring more wisdom and knowledge, thus maturity in some ways. Someone that has gone through life very sheltered, may be on a great level of maturity, but with no experience in life, it's very limited. In some ways, I was very mature for an 18 year old last year, but I hadn't gone through a lot that most people have by that age. I went through them this year and I'm learning a LOT.
I'm not sure if I even began to describe what I'm saying, because I'm not sure how to put it into words. I think QD knows what I'm trying to say, so maybe he can chime in to elaborate a little better.
And again, not arguing or anything, just exchanging opinions :goodjob:

quite the contrary. but, i don't use my childhood or teenage years as a subjective comparison to my life experience.
i'll leave you with this...if you were to date a 19 year old, what would you have in common with them?

i have to disagree... there is quite a significance in age differences... and it's not just a number. at 19 you do not have the life experience of someone who is 35. maturity has everything to do with life experience.
granted life experience doesn't mean that you will act mature...but, it does give you a much better foundation.
But there are some people out there that is my age that have learned a lot by their parents or have been on their own for a while. I honestly think it's just a number. It reflects on how they act as an indivisual and how they act in a mature way, if that makes sense.

It's obvious that you haven't lived the life that a lot of younger folks have lived. Again, experience is greater in value than reasoning. I have the experience. I'm thinking you don't.

i know exactly what you are saying...and in essence, you are proving my point. you are growing and ascertaining life experience. and you will continue to do so.
and certainly, you may have had experiences that even a 90 year old like QD has never had the pleasure of...but, this doesn't equate to true life experience. it's just individual experiences where life experience is a sum of its parts...
and argument was a poor choice of words on my part... my bad.

I think you're missing my point that you can have a 40 year old and a 20 year old on the same maturity level due to experiences had and missed experiences. 10 and 80 isn't plausible IMO, like you said, but I think you understand what I'm saying, also.

i think we will have to agree to disagree... even with missed singular experiences, a 20 year old cannot have the same life experience as a 40 year old...the 20 extra years of time define this as fact. the 40 year old would have had to live in a vacuum.

fair enough. this does beg the question, though. given your opinions on age and life experience in general, do you feel that someone 19 years of age could have anything in common with someone your age?
and this is not a trap.

just wanna kinda get my opinion in here, and im not that intelligent so bare with me cause im not gonna use all those big words or the correct punctuation. i think what qd and catnip are trying to say by "life experiences" is hard things people go through at a young age that some 40 yr olds havnt even been through. i will go out on a llimb and use myself for example, i seen my brother get shot when i was 3 in a drug deal gone wrong that my father brought us along on, life changing enoung for you? and people can "mature" and grow up in just a few years. im not all the way grown yet but i bet if you ask qd how much i have changed over the past year....well. im sure he would have alot to say. and btw not looking for no pity by my little story above so that isnt why this post was made cause i know someone is gonna come in and say quit whining or something along those lines.
just my input though.:goodjob:

firstly, let me say that i hope no one on this board would be insensitive enough to say "quit whining" when you have suffered such a tragedy... if they were to do so, then it would be nothing more than some embicile feeling "bad ass" due to internet anonyminity...
secondly, my condolences to you for having suffered at the hands of violence.
lastly, this is what i knew would eventually occur...someone would equate negative experiences in life to actual life experience. i believe this is what QD was eluding to, as well. everyone suffers life's wrath...some have worse hands dealt than others... molestation, incest, rape, domestic violence, parental abuse...all prime examples of innocence lost. but, innocence taken is not life experience. life experience is a summation of all experiences had during your time of existence. by this definition, time living and breathing = life experience. that was my point.
again, i am not trying to negate the suffering of others... i, too, had a very poor childhood... broken home, mixed up with the wrong crowd, emotionally abusive mother, etc...but, this is not the barometer in which i measure my life experience. take how much you've grown over the last year...extrapolate that into what you will have learned in another 15... make sense?

In the same breath, though, the loss of his younger brother actually is a part of a series of life experiences. It is but one life experience in the series that make up your life. It can be looked like that as well. I do see both sides of the discussion and I think it's fair enough to call it how you will. Later, QD.
