I'm getting an itch to play a good RTS game (can be new or old), any suggestions?

rise of nations is the shit, awesome online play too... download it on torrents and we can do a virtual lan with a program called hamachi, and have a IA war

Yeah Rise of Nations what not that great of a game. I bought the latest C&C games that where released this year, and those where great. Waiting on the next ones. But the greatest RTS game to date was AoE 1 & 2.
