It's taken me awhile to get these up. I was at Road Atlanta about a month ago for an open track day. Here are a few pictures of my car that were taken. Unfortunately it rained all day so we were not able to go at it real hard. Made for quite an interesting time. Traction was not exactly something I can say I experienced very much. It was fun, but I wish we had better weather. Anyways, here are the pictures, enjoy.

(almost got the wife out on track, unfortunately the session got canceled due to a M coupe stuffed into the wall)

It was still fun, but my main purpose for the weekend was to try and dial in the suspension which didn't happen with the conditions. Honestly with the traction problems I would be surprised if I broke a 1:50 which is pathetic, but I rather keep the car in one piece to drive another day  I'll try and go back early next year and see what kind of times I can knock off.

I'll be racing at all the east coast events for Redline Time Attack next year and possibly some NASA events.

I thought they looked awesome.

they are decent. they were taken with a fucking D3 and 500mm f4 lens.

fucking worth more than my truck. i would somewhat expect better results with that set-up.

I've tried to shoot at Road Atlanta on a rainy day, and my pics looked a lot worse than this. That's what I meant.

That's why I wanted to know the rig. I reckon I could have just pulled EXIF.

I had no idea he was working with $10k+ worth of gear.

I had to resize them quite a bit, I can send you the high res shots.

Nonetheless, it was raining pretty hard that day as you can see from the pics.

Sick car, if you run the redline events out here I will probably see you around at the tracks.

As far as the photography goes... not to hate on the photographer at all or anything, but I've seen better pics from Road Atlanta out of a 20D with a 70-200 F2.8L.

In the pooring rain?

I'm not by any means saying they are amazing, but you have to consider the conditions as well. It wa less than ideal to take pictures in.

X2, even if the rain didn't effect the pictures the cold weather and rain probably effected the photographer from giving it his all. :lmfao:
