im deciding on getting a new 13.3" macbook but i cant seem to find any differences between the two besides aluminum case, sd slot, and firewire.... are these the only differences?

Im running a macbook pro with 4gbs of ram and the 2.53 cpu. i LOVE this pc. no problems at all. NEVER experienced lagg nor has my computer ever crashed. i love the unibody because it feels sturdy and it looks very professional. the firewire port does come in handy depending on what u plan to use the computer for.

There is no difference other then what you listed, I think you will be happy with either one.

Don't get caught up in the hype... Mac's are still PC's... Still consist of a mobo, hard drive and video card... the only thing different about a Mac and a Windows/Linux machine is simply the OS. Stick a Windows 7 disk into any Mac and reformat that baby and I bet you come out with a Windows 7 machine.

But goes to show what a great job of marketing Apple has done. :D

Well and you will pay twice as much for the Mac for the same hardware. Is the Mac OS worth double the money. Hell no. But vs vista i will give you a maybe, Vs Windows 7. Absolutely not.
