Talking about removing windshield wipers for a cleaner look is like a fat person talking about how he needs to remove his radio to save weight in his car so it'll be faster...

But real talk, if I had a weekend car, I would probably remove the wipers. But on my daily driven street car, fuck that.

What if your wipers never worked in the first place because the person you bought the car from jacked the harness up?? So, the next best thing is to strip the entire car of parts that are not needed. Like wipers, heat, power brakes, p/s, a/c, etc.... what's that mean???

My subaru is the first car in about 5 years that I have owned that I have left the wipers on. Both my Dakota's, my civic, SRT4 and RX7 never had wipers on them. Rain or not. Rain-X all the way. If you don't keep your window clean (ie. every week) then it doesn't work so well but I showed both my trucks and never had a problem when it rained. It's to each there own but It looked 100 time cleaner.

100% hands down. With wipers you rely on a part to take the water off the window. With rain-x it sheds off the window with just the movement of the car or if its raining hard enough, just that. Its when its just barley pissing rain that it sucks until about 30mph. You cant even tell its raining until you go under street lights when its raining hard. When rain-x is use properly and you keep the window clean its just as good as wipers if not better. If you don't believe me try it. If you have and still think the same your applying it wrong or just lying to yourself. JITB I'd venture a guess you've never tried it with the comment you made. Not trying to get into an argument. I just know from experience how well it works and wouldn't think twice about pulling wipers off my DD and applying rain-x. I just don't EVER clean my current car now because it 1. I don't care about it and 2. It looks better muddy :D. Is it legal to not have wipers in the rain.... highly doubt it but Ive never been bothered for it or had problems seeing in the rain.

Brian would be 100% correct on this... RainX is amazing in hard rain... Ask me how I know...

Now remember, I had NO wipers for over a year on my hatch... It rained a decent amount in that time period, also.

RainX sucks when it's mist or raining very lightly..

If you apply RainX the correct way, it will produce amazing results for you in medium/hard rain.

i agree.... replace, don't remove. removing in the long run could cause other issues.... like blindness in the rain when your shitty rainx eventually fades off and you have no money to put more on because you spent all your money on wheels, exhaust, insurance, etc. trust me.... nobody's gonna break you down if you have wipers with functioning wiper motors.... and if they do, tell them they're fucking retarded and you hope they crash and die in the rain.

I took them off my mini truck. Removed the motors and shaved them bitches. It's never driven though. Even if I do drive it it never has and will never see the rain. Now my Talon wipers aint comin off. Rain = wipers on.
