BitTorrent/Utorrent help

Ok so I can't get my download speed higher than 20kbps right now. I've heard the average is like 600, but i've never seen mine over 150.

Im seeding everything I download.
I tried Port forwarding but after running a check, it says it isnt forwarded.
I was using Bittorrent 6.3, but I switched to utorrnet 1.8.5 to see if it was faster. So I currently have both.

You may be giving too much bandwidth to uploading. I usually keep my uploading throttled back to about 1/2 it's ability. I see faster download speeds.

yup, it all depends on how many seeds you are actually connecting too.
