Hey, everyone. Up for sale is my 94 Ranger, which I bought in 2007 to haul stuff for the house I purchased. Since then, it's been my second vehicle and has been driven for the past 9 months by a friend of mine. While it was gone, I realized how little I needed it, so decided to sell it. I've only added about 12k miles to it in the past 2 1/2 years.
First, the bad:
I'll make to illusions - the thing ain't pretty. It started life in Wisconsin and the road salt was not kind to it. The bottom of the tailgate is rusted out, the undercarriage has surface rust, and there is some surface corrosion in the engine bay. There's a dent on about every body panel (looks like it was bounced off a guardrail at some point) and the paint isn't in great shape. The previous owner was an art student and he didn't take too good care of it. The carpet is pretty dirty, the armrest compartment won't latch shut and the cruise control doesn't work at this moment (it did, so i'll check it out).
The Good:
This thing is freakin' bulletproof! The whole reason I bought it even with the cosmetic problems was the drivetrain - it's in great shape! All i've done in the past 2 years was tune-ups and oil changes. The transmission shifts great, the engine is strong and hasn't skipped a beat. The battery died this year, so it got a new Bosch unit. The brake master cylinder started leaking, so it put a new master cylinder and brake booster on it yesterday with new brake fluid and a new fuel filter. I rebuilt the front suspension when I got it - all new ball joints, steering links and bushings.
Accessories:
A/C (works)
Heat (works)
Cruise Control (will get working)
AM/FM/Tape (works)
Sliding rear window (awesome in the summer!)
Class 1 Hitch/Trailer light wiring (towed a lawn mower trailer with it - no trouble!)
Block heater (from Wisconsin, I never used it)
Manual windows/locks
10K miles on 60K Yokohama tires
Extras:
Chilton's manual
Lightbulb for the gauge cluster (there's a deal-maker!)
Color-matched camper top in poor shape (not pictured)
Spare 15" wheel with jack and tire "T"
