Yep, thats true for the most part. You can have it insured as long as you tell them everything done, but then again alot of times they wont back it up. There are so many loopholes they create to keep from covering them even if you pay extra to cover them.

I've never driven down a "rode" so I haven't seen any clean cars on one either. However I think Hondas are the most common stolen car not because the odds are high, it's because........ oh let me see if I can find the post I made about this before:


Because everyone drive's Hondas, therefore everyone else knows how their car works because they also drive Hondas and know what mods are worth, where all the wiring is, how to get in through the door without damaging it, all of the interior space a kill switch can hide etc. They know WHERE to sell the parts, they know the target buyer for anyhting Honda is the most common. If they own the car at home they have all the time in the world to practice things on theirs.

Like, 90% of the time a car is stolen and the reason isnt that they keys were left in it (at least amungst the car community in Atlanta) it's a Honda Civic, or an Acura Integra. Not saying to buy another car, but just another reason on my personal list that I wouldn't buy one.

Thats one of the reasons why I got rid of my Civic and Accord but I would never take myself out of the "Honda" game. Now I have an Element, Pilot and TL, all modified. They are just less likely to be stolen than a Civic, Integra or Accord. Good common sense and a good standing with a reputable insurance company is really all anybody can do these days besides enforcement with the 2nd ammendment.

My motor is in this because you said that every swinging dick in the land is out to make his honda faster than the next and I was showing that I was not.
