Good Friends..that dont know shit!!

How many of you all have good friends, that dont know SHIT! about cars. And at one point you tried to bring them in the know...and it just doesnt work.:no:.

2 of my best friends are brothers, so one of them was kind of getting into his bmw a little. i was kind of happy! i was like yea get these wheels..clean it up blah blah do this. And one day he was low on oil, he goes to get some oil, i go outside see him looking crazy... and he says..

"how do i get the oil in this little hole"

as he is trying to pour oil into the gas tank....:eek:

that ended our tuning session...

Ive got a buddy like that, I hang out with him about twice a month. Hes a good guy, but yeah has no idea about cars. I told him he should mod his Civic, and then he tells me, no he doesnt like big wings.

Yea, none of my close friends know much about cars. I've got a friend who knows a little bit, but more of car makes, hp, and just going fast in a car, nothing else. lol

I have friends like that. One has a complete riced out integra but he couldnt be more proud of it. Its got the Bomex bodykit hanging with chicken wire and all. I showed him a few nice integra's so he would clean the damn thing up but just didnt work.

see thats a difference of opinions.. he knows about cars im sure to some degree.. but just likes different stuff

Nope, not much at all. Just good at driving MT and can change his own oil...that's about it.

Haha, I guess. He doesn't check them though. His car burns and leaks oil so bad, that I had to tell him to fix it, which he had no idea on what to do first. He just changes oil about every 5k or so with an engine with well over 200k on it and doesnt even put in high mileage oil. Did I mention he ran the car while the tranny fluid was unmeasurable for about a week?

i have a friend that says he knows a lot about cars but when I asked him to assist me in changing my rotors and pads, he couldnt figure how to get the caliper or the wheel off.

i changed my rotors and pads myself in 45 mins.

I asked him to help me quickly change my oil one time and he couldnt figure out where my oil filter was.

It's annoying.

I have an EF civic that needs some work. He stayed over one night and we go play with it for a little bit. I ask his opinion on what to do first.

Me: Um. What can we do to the car with the parts we have available?!
Him: Uhh.. Idk man. Its really cold. I think we should fix the engine.

I know people like that but I don't and wouldn't put them in the same category as "Friends"....lol

I know a few that knows a good amount about cars but they make it look good and under the hood it's crap. They buy their stuff for cheap and when they want to sell it they want an arm and a leg for it but it looks like shit.

Ghetto rig everything instead of making it look nice but just because it has a nice paint job on it does not mean it's worth alot.

Then the worst ones are the ones that you try to help them with stuff right and when something else fails on the car they tell everyone....."oh well he touched my car and so he broke it". I'm like F you biatch so people like that is not considered my "Friends" and I hope you don't either.

Better yet I did know this guy that told me that he made well over 300 whp on a N/A GSR motor with ITR internals easy and when I told him "wow I am boosting my shit and it only make 289whp so you shit is fast man" sarcasticly of cause and that mofo STFU after that....lol :screwy:
