Well, you bastards made me keep it. Maybe for several years....

The 83 Civic Wagon will be in the paint booth the first week of the new year. I'm doing some TV commercials for a friend of mine's body shop and he's going to paint the wagon in return...

I can't wait.

I hope you jerks are happy. Now I need to make this thing stop and ride a little better, then make a decision on doing a FI swap or something else...

Rut

QD knows whats up when it comes to lowering hondas. I say sell the black wheels and go with a different look. the wheels that were on when you got it, when it was still lowered, looked great. i would put it back like that, pain it, and rock it:goodjob:

Haha! Thanks for the shout-out, homeboy.

I've never really heard of any other way to lower it than the way it was. Mine was lowered the same way; mono-leaf, flipped rear and coils heated in the front. You could always just drop 3" blocks on it to keep a better ride quality.

As far as the wheels go, I agree with Rob. The previous wheels rocked for that car. The Panasports are nice as hail, but (and this only my opinion, 15" is too big, lolol). Those 5 stars are perfect period wheels for the car. Later, QD.

Pics?! Did you buy wheels? I'd rock Rota RB's on it! Dozens of sizes and offsets available: http://www.rotawheels.com/wheels.asp?wheelid=34

Lolol. He already has those. Trying to talk him into taking them back off, lolol. Later, QD.

I actually love the wheels...the old wheels looked great for how it was, but with the paint job and hopefully the 50 or 35% tint, I think the wheels and color combo will pop and totally make sense.

I kinda wish I could have gone for 14's, but I just wasn't happy with what I could find in that offset.

Speedminded photoshopped a sweet pic of what he'd do to it, and he slappen on some RB's :)

I have an extra set of factory springs, so I'm going to order new front struts and cut one coil off the extras. If I hate it, I'll just go back to the stock ones or try and get the DC Integra ones back on there like Jonathan had.

I am going to keep my eye out for some older style rims for sure...if someone sees a nice set in 13's or 14's, please let me know

You have to bring it some of the old school meets if you're in town on the set dates. Later, QD.

Is the bolt pattern 4x120 or 4x100?

The latter.

Lucky him. Later, QD.

I'd also be gangsta enough to throw some old school Momo I.D.E.A. wheels on it since those were some of the first wheels that caught my eye getting into cars, or of course who doesn't love some Momo Quasars...

The damn VW guys have snapped up all the cool old school wheels it feels like some times.

Well, in an effort to make my car look like QD's old wagon, I today purchased some 13x7 reverse offset old school 5 stars.

No clue how much they'll poke out since I can't find my lug key for my new wheels. Apparently I put it somewhere I'd remember. Poop.

Pics when I get them on.

Where would I find some of those fender flares ? If I flare this bitch...I"m going to have to paint it a sparkly magenta or something ridiculous :)

Here's one shot of the wheels form the PO's thread.

I really want to see if I can find some caps for them. Then, paint the centers a fun color after polishing the barrels a little bit more.

Those wheels are bad as fuck. If it comes down to it, you can do some of those home made center caps. They are better than nothing. And just google "s30 fender flares" and im sure something will come up.
