i just bought a 92 accord that the guy said he changed the tblets but he used the vtec belts and they snaped like five mins after running so i bought the car for 100 bucks i put the correct belts on and im not getting any compression the head gasket is brand new. what else could b prob the valves seem to be seated, im kinda lost

Need to each cylinder on TDC and put air in them. Listen for air coming out of the exhaust pipe and out of the throttle body. This will tell you if you have bent valves.

By far the best thing to do!!!:goodjob:


You can make your own fitting for the cylinder by using an old Spark Plug and air fitting.

I like adding compression sometimes when it's low.

Was this an F22? I found an accord, boosted, with an F22 that I can pick up pretty cheap that broke a Timing Belt. But, I also know where I can get a complete 30k motor for about 50 bucks.

Is the F22 an interference motor? Or is this thread about an H? Or does it fuckin matter? haha. I'm plannin on junk valves, but I'm not picking up the other motor til I know for sure.

Most Honda motors are Interference motors
