Serious talk, has it?

For me, the first time I met at an IA person was Collins and Julio at the old Godfather Customs show back in like 02. I knew of ImportSouth back in the day when I used to hit up the Nopi Shows at the local Nopi Shops every month. But since joining IA ive met a lot of cool folks, some not what I expected either, but honestly those that I have met and hang out on a personal basis (non meets) have totally made me think differently and view things a certain way. I know for myself Ive been involved in some personal drama because of some IA shit, but hell I think most have.

But either way, heres a big up to my IA homies that have influenced my life in some way:

-JM
-Nate
-JITB
-uproot
-GGPIS3
-Walker
-DJ Maestro
-Cav-E-R
-EvilEF9 (Arsalan)
-Yousef
-Brady
-Tracy, Dan, and Brandon @ BG
- The old Speed monkey crew

probably a lot more too.

Probably the first time I knew IA was something more, was when I got hit on that one mountain run , and a group stuck around with me until the police showed up. :goodjob:

yeah i'll say it has. i've gotten to know tons of new people and usually end up making about 5 new friends everytime i come to ATL for a visit. since i was 17 i've been on IA and enjoyed every minute of it.

also. for all the drama that follows around it think the social aspect has helped shape who i am in one way shape or form. i'd post more but tied up @ work right now

but i wub all my peoples!

except the scotsman! that dirty kilt wearer tried to get me drunk in savannah and take advantage of me. . . . . :ninja: but i might have liked it no homo

Yeah! I've met TONs of super cool people, gotten jobs, and really discovered what the whole 'scene' was all about over the years. I started out on here just trying to find a couple parts and answers to my car problems, and now i have like 7000 posts LOL...

George is one of the coolest of the super cool people I've met through here, and this thread was a cool idea bro.... him as well as alan, darryl, jermaine, josh, paul, brandon are some of my best friends now! i can't think of any others, so if I left you off I'm sorry lol and those are in no particular order LOL...

My old buddy, OG-Skinny told me about the site many many many years ago when it was in its early stages, he's been all about some IA forever LOL

Yes it has.

It made me waste so much fucken money on worthless piece of shiets like civics & integras.

But it taught me a lesson that modding cars is the worst investment.

Yes it has changed my life and probably the direction of my life. I met a member DarkG through another member (can't remember his user name) and we became pretty good friends. I always wanted to attend The University of Tennessee but never really thought I'd do it. He gave me the extra "push" to go there and I ended up joining the same fraternity. If it weren't for IA I don't know how much of this would actually happened.

I have also made other friends on the website but the short story above is the biggest events that have happened from IA.

P.S. Speedmonkey helped me meet a bunch of people who are now friends but I do miss the old killsforum.

Ive met many IA people, i cant keep up with all the Screennames, because i always try to use real names. So ive prob met alot of people that didnt know who i was. But Ia has alot of good folks i have met. First person i met on Ia was QD, at hybrid racing meet, and kevin with the purple mx3, back in 02? I have learned that Ia is a small world.. so i try to be myself at all times.. nothing worse than meeting someone in person, and they are all weird...lol

IA got me a cold air intake for mah car! that's about it...I have yet to get pretty tight with someone I met on IA. Though I will hopefully be picking up that header from KIDDRACING soon, since I learned he's got them for an H22 that allows you to keep your A/C and power steering.

IA has never cost me a job
IA has never got me caught for cheating on a girlfriend
IA has never got me beat up in a parking lot
IA has never given me AIDS

When I moved to GA back in 06 I had not known a soul. Trying to figure out what was happening at the Varsity on that random night u guys held the event. Then.. I happened upon a meet and it helped me "learn." I've met many short lived friends (sept that DRUNK Scotsman) and BigDare and Mike.

I visit this site almost everyday and enjoy the crazy things that happen on the internet. I use this site as a source of info and a great way to pass time when working these long hours. I post alot of nonsense and never actually ever post anything informative (but I will someday) but I enjoy this site and glad I've met all that I have. I've even run across Julio and his Silver Corvette.

I even met JITB and his dude and ALMOST got that fast ass 323.
