Jeez your opinion is no good than! lol. A small group of us have tried Taki multiple times and they always disappoint. They're fish is never chilled, it always tastes like it was sitting out on the sidewalk for days until you came in and ordered it.
The best sushi place Macon ever saw was Tokyo over on Tom Hill. Shit was epic as fook. Now i always go to Shoki. Better than Mikatas and Shogun easily. Bizzle 5-shizzles g/f is the bartender now which makes it 100x better.
The options we have still don't touch Atlantas options.. I mean come on. Is a fresh fish importer more likely to rush to Shitbagmacon? Or to a busy hub like the Atlanta metro area? Im sure theres un-imaginable type sushi on the west coast.

I've never had a problem with the fish not being chilled, but i will agree that shoki is better than mikatas and shogun by far.
I like the Hibachi at Shogun but never had the sushi there. I need to try Shoki next time i'm in Macon.

9 times out of 10, especially the last bunch of times i went to shogun, the service was AWFUL and the sushi/hibachi wasn't worth putting up with the people
around kennesaw, i love fuji hana though.
around vinings orient express is the shit!! it might be a little more expensive but it is SO worth it!

I once went to Shogun in Macon and the waiter left the drink tray on the grill. IT SMELLED HORRIBLE. It was hilarious.

Fuji Hana in Kennesaw.
Maru Sushi on South Cobb Drive near East-West connector is really good.
Best I've ever had is in Smyrna at the corner of Spring Rd. and Cumberland Blvd. behind the QT is a little hidden place by the name of Minato. Ask for the Morgan Roll. It's not on the menu, but it's amazing.

For the southsiders, She's Grill in Peachtree City had some pretty good sushi last time I was home at my parents.
In Atlanta, MF Sushibar, Bluefin are both really good. Personally I'm not a sushi snob so the Rusans sushi buffet from 11-3pm works for me, go there spend $12 or so including tip and eat 20-30 rolls, then go home and not eat until dinner time. Shit got me through college and continues to whenever I'm flat broke.

YOU KNOW THERE'S A NEW PLACE CALLED "SUSHI BITE" RIGHT NEXT TO BAILEY'S IN KENNESAW. ITS GOOD AS HELL. I WOULD PLACE IT NEXT TO FUJI HANA OR KIROSHIOS FOR SUSHI
