The VW Rabbit will always be my favorite VW.

This one, however, is ugly as fuck.

Later, QD.

These actually look good as convertibles.

Everything but the interior is kind of nice.

They're great as convertibles.

Everything but the interior is kind of nice.

Exactly. I can sort of admit to the outerior looking ok..like you said, "kind of." But that interior is complete shit, lolol. It's just a lot of good, quality (it seems) work to make a car look bad. Later, QD.

That's really blingy.

Though, I reckon its awfully creative too, so I won't hate, I will appreciate.

i think the interior all goes together well with the car and color.. wheels/'steering wheel/pinstriping on the dash/ extreme bay tuck.

Love that engine bay.

Ever since Mike McCoy made the cover of PVW with no hood on a MkII Jetta, running without a hood has been the thing to do. I don't get it myself. Its "creative" I suppose, in the same way its "creative" when my 3 year old niece draws on the wall with permanent markers.

its to show off the awesome engine bay im sure, and its only appropriate when youhave a bay like that.

:police:It is obvious that the owner was carrying the extreme minimalistic theme through the whole car. the pinstripe and steering wheel is a bit much but the rest is supposed to be that way.

1.) Get hood (painted to match of course... no rust, fake patina, stickers, etc).
2.) Put stock dash, and original seats back in (or maybe Recaro Trophies). Add MkI Scirocco steering wheel.
3.) A less flamboyant wheel. Maybe ATS Classics.
4.) ???
5.) Profit!!

It all goes together, sure. Just not on that car. That should've been reserved for your 1930s or 1940s Fords or Chevys. The VW Rabbit commands it's original interior in its beautiful stock gloriousness. Later, QD.

Not so much a fan of the interior.....but holy cow, the rest of it is fucking awesome. I am a huge fan of a small amount of gold plating.

I'd rock it.

Theres a difference between "being different:bump:" and "being... uh... different:crazy:"

This car has some cool stuff on it to set it apart... the plated engine parts, shaved trunk, shaved rain tray, the way the fascias extend down farther than stock, colormatched flares, the front camber, etc.

That stuff is cool, but no hood, that dash, the bench seat, the Boydz billet steering wheel, and the madtyteJDM wheels just push it over the top.

Hmm. Sort of like:

1. Buy Honda Civic or DA Integra.
2. Find front lip and put on car.
3. Buy lowering springs.
4. Put 5 fives or Rotas, either ones are interchangeable.
5. Post photos of car on IA and you are instantly "Clean"

those are far from jdm wheels..
and im about 100% sure that the hood was off to show the bay. The interior - wheels-steering wheel-color is all mini trucker/hot rod styled.
