hahahahah i wonder about that chassis code foolishness...when my VIN has A31 in it...care to exprain that about my 5th gen?!?!?

The actual VIN doesn't have a chassis code in it, it's in the long model number given on the plate and "type" at the top.

Your VIN having A31 is because A3 means A33 and the 1 means it's a 4 door sedan. It just happens to make a number that is a chassis code.
